Sequence's mission is to make healthcare more accessible, more transparent, and friendlier. We're addressing America's most pressing chronic conditions, starting with obesity, which affects over 50% of adults.
We do this by:
And of course, to tie these pieces together, we're writing software that creates a seamless experience for our members and healthcare partners alike.
We believe that healthcare shouldn't feel like work — it should feel fun, friendly, and personal.
When it comes to startups, being at the right place at the right time can dramatically shift the odds in your favor. So why now for Sequence?
These tailwinds grant us the opportunity to build something incredibly valuable, while also leaving a lasting positive impact on the lives of our customers.
Each day can look different and we'll want your help to prioritize which activities are most important. Here are a few that you could find yourself working on:
We do daily standups with the engineering team in which we go over our issues in Linear, hold demo lunches where we share what we've been working on, and spend a lot of time in Slack huddles.
We enjoy working together and make frequent use of our office gong to celebrate milestones.
We care less about your resume, and more about your motivation and excitement to grow. We’re a lean team with very high expectations. You’ll have a great time if you’re an all-star performer who enjoys wearing many hats, pushing yourself to do a little better everyday, and having a lot of fun along the way.
As the first data analyst to join the team, you'll be building the data foundation the company will rely on as it grows. You'll be building largely from scratch and will own technical decisions around the data workflows, pipelines, and tool stack. You'll have support of course, and will be working directly with our CTO, Calvin.
With that said, here are a few things that we hope will describe you:
We have an office in sunny San Francisco, right above the Montgomery BART station. We’re currently evaluating candidates who can be in the office at least 3 days a week.
Life is short, do work that matters. Build something that makes a material difference in this world.
We are an interdisciplinary team of entrepreneurs, engineers, marketers, and clinicians committed to pioneering the future digital health. We’re product people with penchant for healthcare and ops, and we bring experience from consumer technology companies such as Google, Uber, Airbnb, Lyft, Opendoor, eBay, and more.
Sequence is backed by the founders and investors of top consumer technology and health companies such as Lyft, Instacart, Hims, Cerebral, Elemy, Roblox, and more.
